Complicated
This is one of my very first paintings I created back in 2002. I was just five years old. It was right after I came home from the hospital after I was diagnosed with Craniopharyngioma (brain tumor) and had my brain surgery.
I had my brain surgery in August 2002 and I believe I painted this around October 2002.
When my mom asked me what it was about. I replied it was called Complicated. Even back then I was expressing my emotions and feelings through art. I nor did anyone else know the artist and writer I would become today. Everything that I've been through has shaped me as an artist and a person. I believe that every day I am still learning and growing as an artist and a person.
